Ok finished another one. This is me as a Croagunk. I was pretty happy when my friend suggested it because I’ve always loved Croagunk. 

We had to make postcards for one of my classes. I honestly didn’t put to much work in because the teacher was really pissing me off, but here it is anyways.

Finally a new art piece. I started this towards the beginning of last year, but never finished it because I hadn’t learned how to use gimp very well. I’m also putting a video up of all the steps it took to make this. So you will see the obvious gap from when I started this and later learned to use the program.

Self Portrait (Digital Art/Drawing) 2011

I started a 30 day challenge and this was day 1. Well not the colored version, that was just done cause I felt like it. When I finish the challenge I’m going to do a giant upload of all the drawings in one post, so that should be chill.

I had to do this as a rush job for class. Looks like shit I know, but I’ll eventually re do it. Anyways this one actually has a concept so here it is.

Todays America is extremely dominated by religious people as we all know, so a common phrase you might hear is “Thank God”. Well I hear people saying this a lot when a doctor saves a life, which frankly is just rude as hell. So I basically made this piece as a statment. Believe in whatever god you want, but when your life is saved by a doctor, don’t go thanking your god. Thank the doctor who went through years and years of schooling, sleepless nights, and the constant fear of getting sued just so they could save lives. I just think it’s really rude for you to belittle the achievements of these hard workers.

Intertwined by Austin Fisher (2011)

This has been in progress for months, and I just kept putting it off. So it’s a little half assed. I like it though, and I hope you do too. Anyways in case you can’t figure out what’s going on. She is a forest spirit and she has captured this young man to love forever and ever. At least she’s cute right? My big headed boy character should be happy, but instead all he can do is be disappoint.

It’s been a while since I finished anything, so I just took one of my unfinished projects and did the head for it. I want to make a new body for this peice so later on I will have a full body piece for this.

I made this for my English final, but it’s kind of adorable and funny so I thought I would go ahead and put it up. The music is super simple, but I thought I would mention that I made that too. So woot woot for quick projects.

8-bit Kirby (Painting) by Austin Fisher

Did this piece quite a while ago for an art show at Arcade Legends. I don’t know where the place is anymore (they moved or something), but it was sweet. You basically payed about 12 bucks and you got to play arcade games all day, they had xbox and stuff too for if you got bored of old games. Who would want to pass up the classics though?
